Ý kiến riêng của tui cho là Stiglitz nghĩ tới cái chung của toàn dân, Scholes là nghĩ tới cái lợi của tăng trưởng tài chính. Nói chung, là tùy vào bản chất của nghiên cứu của họ. Stiglitz ngồi ở một cái Poverty Reduction Centre, đương nhiên nghĩ tới người cùng khổ, còn Scholes nhìn thấy mỗi ngày là Wall Street men, ông ta phải nghĩ tới cái xã hội của ông ta. She points to the oil and gas sector, a key part of the economy that the Vietnamese government is keen to continue developing and, to a lesser extent, the financial sector, which is still bedding in after a large number of new banking licences were granted last year. => is that? Do they really know some top banks' headcounts are cut by 100?

Le Hai Tra from Vietnam has just completed a year at Boston University, and likely to be here longer since I under¬stand he has been accepted into a program at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. (Joint Vienna Institute).
Tác giả Vũ Quang Việt, Ph.d. kinh tế, New York University (1980), làm việc cho Liên Hợp Quốc từ 1984 đến nay, đã từng là thành viên Ban Tư vấn Thủ tướng Việt Nam, tư vấn hoặc làm cố vấn trưởng nhiều dự án giúp các nước xây dựng hệ thống tài khoản quốc gia và bảng I/O như Thái Lan, Trung Quốc, Mã Lai, Phi, Việt Nam, ấn Độ, Pakistan, v.v. Hiện là.chuyên viên cấp cao của LHQ, trưởng nhóm nghiên cứu về phương pháp luận thống kê kinh tế quốc gia. Đã tham gia uỷ ban quốc tế soạn thảo công trình chuẩn thế giới về hệ thống thống kê kinh tế System of National Accounts 1993. Đã có các xuất bản phẩm chính sau: Study of InputưOutput Tables 1970-80 (LHQ,1987),
Handbook of InputưOutput Table Compilation and Analysis (LHQ, 2000), Handbook of Links
Between Business Accounting and National Accounting (LHQ, 2000), hai quyển sau đã được dịch ra 5 thứ tiếng. Sẽ xuất bản Integrated System of National Accounts: An Introduction (LHQ, 2001).
Ngoài ra tác giả cũng viết về kinh tế Việt Nam lúc rảnh rỗi và là cộng tác viên thường xuyên của Thời Báo Kinh Tế Sài Gòn.
